2004 Alfa Romeo 156 1.9 JTD Diesel SPORTWAGEN Red, FACELIFT !
This car has been my general workhorse and dog mobile for the past 3.5 years. I love the car and am gutted to be selling it but am moving overseas so she has to go.
The car has been totally reliable, I would have no question driving it to the South of France tomorrow but it could do with a service and some cleaning up.
If you want an Alfa estate (And why wouldn"t you! )  This is the model to get as it is the new much prettier face life model which looks like modern Alfas and it is the year before DPF"s were fitted so could save huge bills. (If you are not familiar with particulate filters and the cost google it)
This is NOT a pristine show room condition car, I had a basic valet on it but may still smell of my pooch a bit!  Described honestly below.
126932 miles at the time of writing
I carefully monitor all fuel consumption and get around 50 MPG average.
Air con (I never use in this country, may need gassing?)
Cruise control  (I never use cruise control but I think it works)
Removable dog guard and roll out boot cover
Electric windows in front, winders in back (One with knob on end missing)
Airbags
Key has a button to open and close doors and alarm, also boot can be opened with another button
I have the Original wallet with the owners manual in it and paper work including the service book
Stamps in the book are only up to 48,000 miles.
2 Goodyear and 2 Michelin energy saver tyres, plenty of tread from ones were new last year. Also a brand new never used space saver spare tyre in the boot.
2 wheels looked a bit ropy a couple of years ago so I bought a set second hand and fitted 2. There are 3 included in sale if you want them 1 reasonable and 2 ropy with tyres on.

Points needing attention
Needs a service (Or atleast oil n filters)
Could do with a good clean inside
Front bumper took a very light flesh wound on my post  (See photo) Often see second hand bumper on ebay but never bothered me.
Rear windscreen wiper has never worked and also an orange light to do with the lights comes on the dash. Not sure what the light is.
No returns or tyre kicking after buying. Car can be viewed just west of tewkesbury.
