For sale is my BMW 316I ES, 2004. I have owned this car since Feb 07 and was used primarily as our family car. However, over the past couple of years, the use of the car has been to get me to work and back and the odd holiday in Europe. Now selling due to new vehicle,(VW T5).  During this time the car has been mainly be maintained by Barons BMW, Farnborough and there are lots of paperwork to support this. I’m a great believer in taking my cars to a dealer to be maintained as a ‘piece of mind’ and to maintain a great service history for the car. The car’s interior is of dark gray cloth with no rips, tares or Staines. It’s also a smoke free interior. There are a few places on the dash board where the lacquer has started to come off. Over my ownership, the car was transferred to a private number plate, so most of the documents will support my plate instead of its issued one. I have all the correct DVLA paperwork supporting the transferred between the two number plates. The car has now reverted back to its original number plate on a 2004 plate. The car has never been involved in any form of accident in my ownership and the vehicle has never broken down on me. I have always had the vehicle serviced when it’s been required and tyres replaced when needed. The car has recently benefitted from a brand new clutch, new brake pads and disks all round. Receipt to prove it and the guarantee stays with the vehicle and the new owner.
MOTs are as follows.

As you can see, the vehicle hasn’t really covered a lot of annual mileage of the years and is below the expected covered mileage for its age. All the above MOTs are present and the current mileage is 107701. This will rise a bit as I’m still using the car on a daily basis.
Servicing’s have been carried out on the following dates,
• August 07 - Inspection 1 with oil and filter change.
• Feb 09 - Oil service, Rear brake pads and brake fluid and various other works.
• Nov 10 - Front brake pads replaced.
• June 12 - Oil service and Air & Con replen. Listed above is some of the service history for the car with the receipts showing a lot more work carried out at the time. The car isn’t due another service for another 3425 miles. (Please see picture).
Bad points.
Last MOT picked up the front near side and off side suspension bushes are deteriorating, but are not resulting in excessive movement. Halfords informed me that due to the lack of mileage covered this may not even be required to be replaced before the next MOT. It’s Just on there as an advisory. Front tyres will need to be replaced before the next MOT as they are just above the legal limit.  Near side wing has signs of paint being removed from it. At the time I thought this was bird droppings and wiped it off. Unfortunately, it turned out to be some else and I’m not sure what it was. Rear right roof drain has come away from the car but the car is still water tight. Due to the age of the car it has been on a few supermarket battles with other car doors and shoppers. To that end, the paint work shows a few scars, scratches and dents.
Good points.
A very well maintained vehicle with a comprehensive service history by a main BMW dealership. Lots of receipts showing loads of money spent on it over the years. Low mileage car for its age with many years of pleasurable driving ahead for the lucky new owner/driver. Comes With two keys. Cash on collection please and no paypal.
