Background.I bought this for a customer in Ireland. However, I didn"t realise that any dashboard lights are an MOT fail. This has an intermittent engine management light, and since he wanted to take it to Ireland today, we were not able to complete the deal.Despite the engine management light (Slow reacting oxygen sensor), the car runs well, is in good condition, and has just passed an MOT.
Good Points.Runs well - I have driven it about 30 odd miles without missing a beat, No overheating, no head gasket issues, the engine is smooth an quiet, with no tappet noise or anything else that would cause worry. Starts on the button, even after being left for a week or more. Timing chain so no cam belt to go wrong.12 months MOTEverything works, except the air con - though I might not have tested some minor stuff.Clutch and drive train is good.Generally bright and shiny inside and out. - Interior is in good condition with no particular marks either front or back. Exterior is generally good, though has some marks. Nothing serious, and better than the age would suggest.3 keys Just had a brand new battery with a 3 year warranty. (And new wiper blades for the MOT)Paperwork in order, though only old MOT"s and no formal service history.I wouldn"t have any hesitation driving this home if you are coming from a way away.Bad StuffSmall dent I have pushed out with some success, though can be seen (see photos).Advisory on 1 tyre, though you"ll prob want to change the 2 fronts.Intermittent engine management light.Terms & Conditions
