“Pretty good condition for its age, see the photos and description for full info, but its only got a couple of scuffs on the paintwork and the drivers footwell carpet is a bit worn. You"re looking at a great little family run around we"ve had for just about a year to do local school runs etc.
Its a nippy little car that fits us all in and the 1.2 lt petrol engine and 5 speed manual gearbox has been really fun to drive around in. The kids are really sorry to see it go!
It had full service history until 2013 and since then its been home or local garage serviced. In the last 12 months we"ve had some replacement tyres put on and a new full exhaust (front and rear sections) but nothing else has needed attention. The oil light has just started coming on intermittently, but it isn"t because of oil issues, as i regularly check the level, so i guess the sensor going dodgy - i"ll look into it this week.
The condition of the outside is great, with just a little scuff on the drivers side lower valance, i"ve included a photo of this scuff. The rest of the paintwork is very good for its age. The passenger door external handle sometime doesn"t spring down fully, but this just needs another shut of the door to return it. All 4 tyres have good tread on them.
The interior is in good condition, with the distinctive blue seats quite a funky feature. The drivers carpet is worn, but nothing that a foot mat wouldn"t cover up easily. The previous owner had a dog, but we had it professionally valeted and there isn"t any trace of dog that we can sense anymore. I"ve fully cleaned out the usual 9 & 11 year old rubbish from the back seats now and it"s come up very shiny and clean.
The boot is pretty flexible, with the fold flat back seats very useful to move bigger items. Theres even space for a full size spare wheel, which has good tread on it, and it still contains all the emergency recovery/tyre changing tools from original build/sale.
The MOT is until 23rd September 2017 and the advisories we received in 2016 were discussed with the MOT garage and they said they would all be fine until past the next MOT.
Good luck with the bidding. Someone can grab a bargain, as this great little car does"t owe us anything and we just want to pass it onto someone else to have fun with it. We bought it for £1,000 a year ago, so we"re starting this at a very low value, as we"ve bought another car with 7 seats to take the grandparents around with us - Hurray!?
