Jaguar x type 2.0 diesel for spares or repairs, bought this vehicle at the end of January 2014, the vehicle had an electrical problem which looks like it has started from the ABS unit, the wiring from the ABS unit running along the engine bay has started to smoulder. the previous owner tried to claim of their motor insurance but was rejected as it was classed as mechanical failure. this would be an easy fix for someone in the trade, mileage was 92000 at beginning of october last year, previous owner told me they had done very few miles till it developed the fault. she had only bought it at the start of October and the garage had put a new clutch into it before she picked it up.MOT till 2nd October 2014No Tax.Registration Document in my name.was going to repair myself, started to strip out dash to get to the fuse box and see the extent of the damage, looks like it just needs a new loom which plugs into the fuse box, came across a problem could noy get the steering wheel off due to the air bag, so have decided to sell to the highest offer. someone will get a bargain.Good overall condition with black leather interior. vehicle will need to be trailered away, will not start or drive.have relisted under an auction, as twice I have put it under buy it now and sold it, both parties had no intention of picking it up.please be advised we are in the highlands of Scotland.
