Exterior:  This facelift model is presented in the perfect black/black colour combination with the addition of an OEM S-Type R mesh grill and 18” Alloy wheels.  The alloys come wrapped in 3-month old (£1000) Continental Sport rubber (7mm rear, 6mm front).  The condition of the bodywork can only be described as immaculate; as a car-detailing enthusiast this car has been paint corrected and waxed using high quality products.  You’ll find Sport refinements such as theJaguar Supersports CATS suspension (listed as an option in the Jaguar tech spec print out), rear lip spoiler and twin stainless tailpipes.  There are no notable dings, dents, scraps or blemishes; this car really has been impeccably cared for.   Interior:  Beautiful unmarked charcoal sports leather and matching carbon dash trim.  I had the leather seats professionally cleaned, treated and conditioned 6 months ago at a cost of £150.  This example also comes with the premium Alpine sound system; amplified with 2 x 8” woofers on rear shelf and 6-disk changer in the boot – sounds so much better than the HK system I had in my previous M3 BMW.  You’ll find toys everywhere you look, including; auto dimming mirrors, adjustable steering column and pedals, electric rear window blind, fixed cell phone under arm rest, front and rear parking aid, electric heated front seats, heated front/rear screens, Jaguar voice activation, 7” touch screen Sat Nav, Television, cruise control, power folding mirrors, automatic climate control, dynamic stability control heated electrochromic door mirrors, side airbags and sevrotronic steering.  This really is one of the nicest cabins you’ll have the pleasure of sitting in, with comfort and style in abundance.   Engine and Transmission:  The fantasticJaguar 4.2 V8 produces 300Bhp and takes the S-Type from 0-60 in 6.2 seconds and delivers a throaty bark.  The 6-speed auto box is as smooth as silk and delivers swift kick-down when set to ‘sports’ mode.  Overtaking power on the motorway is where this Jag really comes into its own, with 420Nm/310lb-ft of torque.   Combined MPG is quoted as 24MPG, and I’ve seen upwards of 30MPG on a steady motorway run.  This example has been maintained regardless of cost and was last serviced in July 2014 at a cost of £1097.
Note: Everything works on this car to my knowledge, only point to disclose would be the indicator stalk which is a bit glitchy (prone to accidentally operating the dipped headlight), I considered replacing however it does not cause a problem as long as you are mindful whilst driving.
