2004 Lexus IS200 SE


Sad to see the day come but time for my beloved Lexus to go as I have needed to switch to something more practical due to a growing family.
The car is a 2004 IS200 SE in stunning "Platinum Ice" Silver, silky smooth 2.0 naturally aspirated straight six engine with a 6 speed manual gearbox. Nearly a full year MOT. As expected with a Lexus the build quality is second to none, the engine is bulletproof and has never let me down. Being RWD it is also a pleasure to drive when the roads get twisty and the chassis is balanced superbly for a four door saloon. At the moment the car sits on ultra rare 17 TTE Grand Prix alloys on 4 nearly new tyres less than 6 months old. These are genuine TTE wheels and were sourced at great difficulty and expense. Please note I may sell wheels separately and the car reverted back to standard 17 alloy wheels however in this case price will be reduced
The half leather cream interior is in great condition with genuine Lexus mats. This car has never been smoked in or carried any pets, and again being a Lexus everything is luxuriously high quality and electrically operated: windows, folding/adjusting mirrors, tilt/slide sunroof, seat adjustment you name it. And it all works as it did straight out of the showroom. Both front seats are also heated which is not the case on lesser models and the A/C also blows ice cold which is great for the summer.
Being one of the last generation SE"s to be built it has factory smoked headlights/tail-lights, tinted fogs, and SRS curtain airbags none of which you will find on earlier SE models. This is something to be aware of if looking for an IS200 as Lexus added a number of improvements later in the car"s lifecycle. It also has the improved Premium Lexus Soundsystem which is vastly improved upon the units in earlier cars which were prone to faults, the 6 disc in dash multichanger and 8 speaker component system in this car have never skipped a beat and sound absolutely fantastic.
Only one former keeper from new, The car has been owned by us for just over 3 years and the last owner had the car from new. I have the original owners manual and service book with all three original keys (two master keys and a service key) a folder full of service history, old MOT"s and receipts all present. There are 8 stamps in total: the first 3 at Lexus, 1 at an independent Lexus and Toyota specialist and the last 4 services (during my ownership) have all been completed at Lexus.
The clock shows 96k genuine mileage and the car was serviced last by Lexus at 92k. Most miles since I bought the car have been motorway miles. Please note mileage will go up as car is still in daily use. Other additional features include a subtle boot lip spoiler and rear LED numberplate lights. 
As mentioned in the condition section of the listing there are some minor age related marks here and there however the car has never been in a collision and the engine has never once let me down.
