Bad Bits
I’ll get these out of the way first.The paint work is a little bit “swirly” under strong daylight. It was like it when I purchased the car and the intention was to get it detailed.A few stone chips on the front of the car and sills.Skipped services in 2010 and 2012. It appears this owner serviced it on mileage rather than time (9,000 miles or 1 year).
Good bits
I bought this car exactly a year ago as a completely standard, original car with only 10,500 miles with a view to keeping it for some time. It was garaged through the winter and has only been outside for the summer months in my ownership. Unfortunately, I’m looking to upsize my house to my pride on joy has to go. The car is completely blister free. Included in the sale are both hard tops and soft tops. No wear to drivers or passenger seat bolsters. Private plate also included in the sale.
Being an original car (it came with the same tyres on it left the factory with), it also came with all the original Lotus issues. All of which I’ve sorted (at great expense) within my ownership. These are highlighted below:
August ‘15 – Indicators cable tied to prevent them popping out. February ‘16 – Baffled sump (Sector 111 gPan3) fitted to prevent potential oil starvation issues. February ’16 – Powerflex engine mount inserts fitted to prevent gear selection issues. May ’16 – Front clam removed, Pro Alloy radiator and upgraded resistor pack fitted.

Service history
I have created a spreadsheet to document the cars history from new, services and work I’ve carried out for the new owner, and I am happy to share to document with anyone interested. The car will come freshly serviced with 12 months MOT if the asking price is met. I have provisionally got the car booked in with a Toyota specialist to have the engine oil, gearbox oil, filters, and spark plugs changed. Once completed, it means all the cars fluids will have been changed as of this year.

Team Dynamics “S” wheels and Yokohama AD08R tyres (These are a bespoke wheel which don’t have the Team dynamics writing on the edge – supplied by Seriously Lotus) – fitted Jan ‘16 Fibreglass front splitter – fitted Jan ’16. Larini Clubsport exhaust – fitted Oct ’16. Sill stone protectors – Fitted Aug ’15. Exige black rear diffuser – fitted May ’16. Braided brake lines, Motul RBF600 race fluid, and Mintex 1144 pads – fitted Apr ’16. Colour coded hard top – bought Aug ’15.
Original exhaust, diffuser, and wheels are all still available by separate negotiation.
This car is now super reliable and will require nothing more than routine servicing for many years to come.
