Here for sale is my wonderful Lotus EXIGE S2 which I have owned for over 2 and a 1/2 years.
She is a fantastic piece of British engineering and a true piece of automotive history.
As such, she has been cared for meticulously from both a mechanical and aesthetic aspect. The bodywork is in fantastic condition and the engine/drivetrain is running beautifully.
A total of 10 stamps are in the service manual including the most recent full Lotus service performed on 12/08/16 at Legacy Storm Lotus (Leicester). This included air con service and regas, as well as idle relearn being carried out. A new Varta high quality battery was fitted last week, with receipt and warranty included in the sale. There is a folder of history included with much of it performed at Lotus dealers.
Why am I selling? Quite simple, my wife is pregnant and an EXIGE in the garage is a luxury that could be better enjoyed by somebody else. I will get another someday, because I love the EXIGE.
The Car:
For a 2004 EXIGE, I would be surprised if you found one with such good bodywork, it is fantastic to look at. There are obviously a few stone chips on the front but no crazing of the panels and it is dry stored in my garage. The car could easily be mistaken for a much later S2 with far fewer miles.
It is the touring model, as such it benefits from:

Air conditioning is absolutely essential in an EXIGE, unless you are Louis Hamilton and only driving it around Spa or Silverstone... These cars get very warm in the summer without air-con fitted, I would not buy one without it...
The bodywork is waxed/clayed every 3 months, it is quite honestly beautiful in the grey/black combination. Come and see her, you won"t be disappointed...
The engine and drivetrain runs beautifully and there are no mechanical faults on the car, the MOT was completed without any advisories.
As mentioned, it was serviced last week at Legacy Storm Lotus and then driven back home - I haven"t driven it since so it is as fresh a service as you get! It is ready to go and the new owner can enjoy her for the rest of the summer.
The new owner will receive the full service history, owners manual etc.
Note: Private plate (pictured) is not included, I have received the new V5 back with the cars original plate (SN04 VOV). So you won"t be waiting around for my plate to be removed as I have already completed this.
