Hello & Welcome to my auction for my beloved MGZR 104! RE-LISTED DUE TO TIMEWASTER!! (Grrr...)
An ideal learner car, or something to get you from A-B without all the common MG ZR faults, which I"ve had fixed (yay). It"s not perfect but will be good to you!
I bought this car last year back in March 14" to get me around for my new job, it has had a lot of work done to get it at the stage it is now, and its super reliable & good fun to drive; I"ve saved up enough for an upgrade so it"s time to say goodbye!
The first things I had done were:Head Gasket & Radiator & Timing belt changes (£300.00); can be confirmed by: http://www.MG-rovermobilemechanics.com/New interior clockNew fan resistor, so it works on all 4 settings (wow!)New batteryNew alternator (£100.00)Wheels sprayed blackNew MG badges, front and rearHorn re-wired (common fault) & coil packs replacedRear Fog-Lights re-wiredBoot parcel shelf hingeA few months ago, I had the middle and back sections of the exhaust replaced; however, it is loud and rattly! Just needs adjusting and don"t have time/don"t notice enough any-more.
It has the following noticeable "marks" and "issues" (I always believe in full disclosure):Passenger front left tyre is curbed 1/4 way roundMultiple shopping dings & one longish scratch (has been patched) along the drivers door under wing mirror)Drivers bolster material come off in placesFront Fog Lights only stay on if you hold the switch down (May need new switch no idea)Engine warning light has been on since I bought it & even after the Head Gasket was done; sometimes it flashes sometimes its just on - Has never caused me any issues - Could be the sensor, no idea.The warning light could be to do with a "cylinder" issue a friend told me, but it still drives great for meBrakes will need changing at the front in 2000 MilesPlease contact me if you have any questions & test drives welcomed providing valid proof of insurance.
