vehicle description:

For Sale is my 2004 MG ZT+.
Reason for sale: I was planning to sell this car in late August after having taken it around Europe on a road trip, however because it has a suspected head gasket issue, I have decided to sell it early, and fly to my destination instead, since a head gasket failure on a roadtrip wouldn"t be good. I didn"t have time though to sell it in August, so this is a relisting for a cheaper price (was £700, but now more open to offers).
What it"s like: I"ve had this car for two years and have done 17,000 miles in it, predominantly motorway miles commuting from Gloucestershire to Aberdeen and back. I have had very little trouble with it until recently, and it drives like a dream. The V6 engine has plenty of power and torque and the pedals and steering are extremely responsive. The dual-colour leather bucket seats are wonderfully comfortable and I have never felt any aches or pains, even when having driven it almost solidly for 15+ hours. The boot is easily large enough to carry a large amount of things and passenger/rear leg-room and all-round head room is great - I"m 6" 6 and have never had any problems.
Sidenote: If you would like more facts and figures on this car, here is a link: http://bit.ly/1K99UWo
What it comes with: The car comes with four MG foot mats, a phone mount, a (flat) spare tyre jack, and other tools, two headlight replacement bulbs, and if you are interested, a wireless OBD II sensor so that all the car"s ECU information can be accurately monitored from your laptop or phone. The car also has full service history, and has an MOT until 8th of April 2016.
Little issues: These are the things I"m going to be honest about so you know the annoyances this car has. The key fob"s lock button just fell out the other day, which makes locking the car awkward (but not at all impossible). Also, the air-conditioning just decided to pack in, which has been fairly unbearable in the recent heat. I would have had this fixed but when I heard that it might have a head gasket issue, I just couldn"t be bothered - sorry. The driver"s seat is worn on one side, as a photo shows, and the inner fuel locking cap (not the fuel filler cap) is no longer attached, so it has to be put on the ground or on the roof of the car when filling this car up with petrol. Also, the passenger side door is pretty stiff, and the boot can be too sometimes. Additionally, the other day I parked too close to a hedge, which accounts for the scratch on the nearside rear door which I have tried to photograph.
LPG/Autogas: The LPG system in this car works perfectly. The difference between the car running on petrol to running on LPG is seamless and unnoticeable. Included are all the computer cables necessary to have the car electronically serviced, as well as the LPG certificate, which is often asked for by insurance companies. Power-wise, the car is the same on LPG as it is on petrol, and so the costs are fantastic: driving 300+ miles (the tank is 68 litres and my best range is 384 miles) costs approximately £36, which is equivalent to getting more than 50MPG. Apparently the engine torque is reduced when on LPG, however I have never noticed this so I assume the difference to be extremely small. The LPG was fitted in 2011, and comes with a lifetime warranty, which is pretty neat.
Update: I have found some more items which I will give away with the car. I have two European LPG nozzle adaptors (in case you"re interested, it means this car is compatible with everywhere except places which use the Euronozzle) as well as two sidelight bulbs. Also, I found an unopened tube of T-cut, which I"ll throw in as well. Also, I have a USB car charging plug, however it seems that the cigarette lighter isn"t working at the moment. Also, I have just noticed that the nearside break light has just gone.
Contacting me and viewing the car: If you are interested, please either respond to this add below, or if you want a quicker response, just text or WhatsApp me on 07565 964950. I"m happy to go for a test-drive and answer any questions, and/or meet you within a 20-mile radius of Stroud, Gloucestershire. I"m happy to be paid through PayPal but I"ll accept an online transfer or cash.
