Here for sale is my MG ZT 2.5 V6Just over 100K miles and MOT July.
Genuine reason for sale as I have recently changed jobs that involves a lot of driving and have been using the MG everyday however I have now bought a more economical small diesel.The car drives lovely with a nice purr from the engine with smooth (auto) gear changes. In good condition for the year with no rust, there are a few marks here and there as you usually find with a car of this age. The seats are half leather and half suede with no rips or stains however the suede does look used. Nice radio/CD. Average MPG of around 28. Uses no oil or water and this engine is regarded as a good one and doesn"t suffer from the head gasket issues of some smaller engine rovers. 10 stamps in the service book last one at 97,000 miles in August.
Just a few features are; dual climate control, electric windows (x4), electric mirrors, sports mode, blue dash lights, xenon headlights, cruise control, anti dazzle mirror and no doubt lots of things I have forgotten to mention!
Negative points;
A few marks here and there- but nothing major it is very presentable as seen in the photos.The alloys could benefit from refurbishment.Warning lights come and go on the dash- this is a common problem with the ZT. Generally the lights are the airbag light (due to the connector under the drivers seat, which usually just needs a clean and reconnection), low washer fluid (sensor) and AMG (sensor on the inlet manifold). The radio could do with a better connecter as the signal sometimes drops however the CD works perfectly.None of the above issues prevent the car from driving or affects its excellence performance.
I purchased the car from a rover/MG specialist who knows the car inside out having built them at Longbridge.
In summary this is a very smart looking car that drives lovely and has the capability to leave modern BMW"s standing.
Please be aware that the car is 12 years old so not perfect.
I have been as honest as possible with the description and the car is sold with no reserve.
