ON BEHALF OF A FRIENDtop of the range  7 seater model
 i originally won this car on ebay for around £1800. on collecting the car , during the test drive it went into limp mode so the deal was off 2 weeks later the seller contact meafter spending £615 at a main dealer and said i could buy it for £2400 now it was fixed i declined. the seller put it back on ebay ans i won it again for £1850 happy days. car was fine for a couple of weeks but would then go into limp mode. if i switched the car off and waited it would be fine for a while i took it to a diagnostic expert .£408.41 later they told me it was fixed . it wasnt still occaisionally went into limp mode. i took it to a local main dealer who told me there was a break in the wiring loom causing incorrest fault readings when plugged in to thier computer. at great ewxpense (£1165.51) the loom has been replaced and Peugeot could now give me a correct fault diagnosis. by now i had lost interest and bought a Range Rover.Peugeot reported limp mode is due to a faulty low pressure fuel pump located inside the fuel tank main deal price to fix is £400  basically in addition to the car purchase a total of £2178.92 has been spent on this car. i am sure someboidy could fix the low pressure fuel pump for less than the main deal price of £400  car is now on sorn and requires final work hence being sold for spares or repair i am not a dealer and offer no guarentees  i have given an honest description of the car  should be an easy fix now bargain for someone  i have all the main dealer reciepts for all work done
