Hi there i shall start by saying i am advertising this car for my brother in law, he purchased the car before xmas as a non runner from a friend with the intention of using it as a family vehicle, the car had been diagnosed on computer as throttle body issue. 
The throttle body has been removed and cleaned and codes on ECU cleared, car started and ran fine for a few days until the alternator belt snapped.
The replacement parts were fitted including pulley wheel, belt, again the car started and ran fine for a few days until it failed to start again.
Further investigations lead to RAC being called out to see if they had any useful knowledge but could not get the car to run, a full diagnostic check had been undertaken at this point by RAC and found no codes or indications to any possible causes of the car not starting. 
Few days latter after looking around the engine bay we discovered a black wire that seemed to be lacking connection to the body of the car, the wire was stripped back and reconnected to the same location. The car started up fine and he used for approx 1 week until it cut out and failed to start once again. Anger and frustration at this point was high so we it recovered back home and he refused to carry on with it at this stage due to lack of funds and needing a replacement car ASAP.
All the information that we can give has been given and just need the space back at home now and no stress ;) so the car is available if anyone would be interested, as mentioned in the description the car is in good condition and once sorted would make a fantastic family car with all the mod cons, the engine when running is smooth and pulls very well, the turbo kicks in and off it goes like a dream ( just not his dream unfortunately). He has the full V5 in his name ready for the new owner, the MOT has now expired as of 18/01/2016 and is currently SORN off the road.
