Hi, I am selling my 2004 XC70 D5 auto SE Lux. It has done 242k but has an autobox issue. It has a very good service history and MOT till July 2020. It is in really lovely condition, inside and out. and is fully loaded: heated leather electric memory seats; bi-xenon headlamps; dual climate control; top spec radio CD with 3.1 channel output; integral dog guard; satnav; etc, etc. Everything works as it should although the AC needs regassing. Cambelt done 40000 miles ago. I bought it about a month ago and it was driving beautifully all the way home but about 2 miles from my house the front passenger drive shaft snapped and popped out! I managed to get it home and the garage came and collected it and replaced the driveshaft and ABS sensor a few days later. However this seems to have affected the autobox. It drives absolutely beautifully when it is cold but once it has warmed up - about 20 minutes or so - the gearbox becomes a bit temperamental. Occasional jerky changes, occasional rev flares and on the motorway it appears to lose top gear and drives along at 2600 revs instead of about 2200. It never stops but it is a bit too unnerving for my liking. There are some warning messages on the dash which all appeared when the driveshaft snapped. Someone with more mechanical know-how than me may be able to sort this out.Cash only and happy bidding.
