2004 Rover 75 Connoisseur SE, Diesel Manual with all the trimmings and a wealth of history. One of the last of the pre-facelifts, this is finished in a rare & desirable Seafrost Blue and low mileage for the year. I bought this car in November 2020 and has been my reliable pride and joy since, but due to unforeseen circumstances I can no longer afford to keep her.
Good Points:The car has been well maintained with work carried out this year including new brakes, new turbo boost pipes, a major service, new front tyres & an inline thermostat. The car also benefits from a professional underseal job which means the bulk of the car is protected from rust for years to come. It runs & drives like a Rover should, with no issues with the clutch as feared on these models.A sought after specification including Cruise Control, Heated Seats, Electric Rear Sunblind & Spare Alloy Wheel.Service history dating back to 2005, when the car was purchased by its second owner. Also comes with a brochure & a Haynes Manual.
Bad Points:In October this year this car was involved in a collision with another vehicle on the front left corner. There was no structural damage and this wasn"t claimed on insurance, so there"s no salvage category on the V5. The passenger seat airbag deployed and whilst the seat & airbag ECU has been replaced & coded, unfortunately the airbag light remains on & will need the tracking doing. The car was rebuilt with help of a reputable Rover specialist, who can attest to the car"s overall condition.There"s general wear & tear to the car inside & out, with any car of this age. A new door & bumper in the right colour does come with the asking price.MOT runs out on the 10th January 2022. Other than the issues listed above I"d be confident that this car would pass another.
With the right work this can be a dependable modern classic to ferry you about in style, and never has failed me in the many journeys I"ve done with it. I"m open to offers & viewings as well.
