I have for sale one of the most popular family cars on the road, a Citroen Xsara Picasso. This is the 1.6 HDI diesel model with the very economical and reliable Citroen engine. I had a Berlingo van with the same engine and they are relentless-just go on and on and 106k miles is nothing for one of these. The trip computer is showing 49mpg, it"s in very good condition, drives great and its very versatile-loads of room.
Driven it this week and it was fault free. Starts first time, good clutch, gearbox, no bearing or suspension noises and no overheating-temp gauge stays at normal. Engine clean and dry and all the levels topped up. 4 very good tyres, sound exhaust and all the electrics work.
Service book shows 7 stamps in the book from new up to 89k miles in 2011. Last MOT only had 2 advisories and these were the front tyres-both have been renewed since, see photo.

No bangs, knocks or scrapes just the odd age related minor marks. Rear nearside panel has had paint in the past, it"s a good job but needs a lacquer coat, for me it"s fine and I would leave it.
Internally it"s also good. The beauty of these cars is the high driving position, comfortable individual 5 seats, huge rear space with the rear seats folded, floor storage spaces, rear trays, auxiliary sockets, front arm rests. There is no damage at all and this is a great family car. Yes it has age related minor marks but it"s a good size family car.
Few points to note;glove box handle is broken, it still opensvolume button on radio is missing, you can still turn the stub and it works finerear window screen wiper needs tightening up or replacingleft hand side of instrument panel pixels are dim. Rest are fine.So if you want a good family diesel at a great price which looks and drives great then this is a very good buy. BIG FAMILY CAR WITH 50 MPG!
