 Well this was on the bucket list and the fact that it has only done 750 miles in the 14 months we have owned it says it all, it definately WON"T take two spaniels in the back!!
Seriously though, I bought this as a 60th birthday present for myself really to tick the box as I have owned Maserati"s, Porsche"s, Ferrari"s etc. and the one thing missing, if you are lucky enough to consider it, is to own an Aston. Thing is, over time our life has changed and we spend more time doing things that don"t involve a sports car so it doesn"t make sense to keep it, even though they are appreciating! So we are consolidating and selling two cars to buy one, you can see our Merc listed on eBay as well.
So, that is the reason for selling, lets go to the car. It is a 2005 V8V, so benefits from the low tax band,  with only 30,640 miles on it, very low mileage as you will agree. Importantly it has a full Aston Martin Main agent history and the last service was when we bought it in May 2014 at Grange Jaguar/Aston Martin in Swindon which was £1300 in addition to this it had new front and rear pads fitted by the dealer, the previous services were all with Grange in Exeter.
I have been a Concours d"Elegance judge in the past and this car is in 9+/10 street car class condition. There are no marks on the body of any mention at all, there is some slight marking on the gel type protector transfers that protect the rear flares from chipping, I only mention this for good orders sake, this is not significant and could be changed at very low cost. The interior is likewise unmarked in blue leather with a mid grey Alcantara/Suede full leather headlining. It has sat nav, electric heated seats, Xenons, the item not present is cruise control and the phone is by SIM.
Absolutely everything is working on it as it should and it is driving perfectly, just not often enough! The only comment I would make is that one of the spokes on the offside front wheel has a stone chip on it which is about 6mm long by 4mm wide from a lorry on the A303. The tyres are in good condition with upwards of 4.5mm of tread and showing even wear, the wheels are fitted with Aston badged dust caps, nice finishing touch.
Now to business. We are taking delivery of a new car on 1st August the dealer has offered me 31k for the car in p/x I WILL NOT LET THE CAR GO FOR LESS THAN £32. That is about 2-3k less than other similar cars listed on the "net, so you know where you stand. The listing will end on the 31st July and it will go with me to the dealer and be p/x"d, your chance to buy a car that will appear on a dealer forecourt for £35.
The Aston has ALL the necessary documentation, service history, handbooks, owners manual even the original unopened CD of the factory build process. The plate will be transfered off and it will go back onto its original plate, which I have retained. the vehicle was HPI"d when I bought it but feel free to check it yourself, the mileage has been verified with strict checking against VOSA, DVLA and the service history.
I will not allow test drives unless with sight of valid insurance, trade or short term cover. I will take you as far as you like for as long as you like and stretch the car within reason, if you are a genuine buyer and can prove funds,  I have nothing to hide on this car! It will only be released on receipt of cleared funds, e transfer or cleared cheque or bankers draft. The car will be locked in its usual garage and the buyer can take both keys until funds clear.
