Welcome to this auction for the Hyundai COUPE s 1.6. The reason it"s spares or repairs will be listed below but first I shall list all the good points...
Good points....One owner from new...Mot until April 29th 2016, (only advisory is that the sills have covers on)...87000 miles...Alloy wheels all with very good tyres and locking wheel nuts...Electric windows...Spare key and fobs...Electric mirrors...Remote central locking...Driver and passenger airbags...Power steering...Abs brakes...Air con...Half leather seats (some wear on front seat blusters)...Great on fuel...
The bodywork is very good, there is however some peeling on the petrol cap and some light marks on the rear spoiler, other than that there are no dents, scratches or rust and it polishes up very well.The reason it"s spares or repairs is that it has been diagnosed with a bcm (body control module) fault. It was diagnosed by a Hyundai main dealer with the receipt to prove. The problem it has is that it will only start when it wants to and will randomly not start, This is due to an immobiliser issue. You can pick up a 2nd hand bcm on ebay or local scrap yards fairly cheaply but I simply don"t have the time to sort it out hence somebody could end up with a real bargain. When it is running it does drive really well and is very comfortable. The engine is great and so is the gear change, clutch, steering, brakes etc etc. Because it only starts randomly it has to be assumed that this is a non runner and will need to be towed or trailered away, if it does start when collected then that"s a bonus. Also there is no stereo....
