Hi - this is an auction for my 55 plate Kia SPORTAGE 2 litre petrol with gas/LPG conversion.
I bought this recently in a hurry as I needed to tow my caravan up to the Lakes - it is no longer needed and needs time and money spending on it, so is up for sale.
Issues:engine is using oil - smoking.doesn"t want to switch over to gas properly, so only running on unleaded at the moment - tank indicator showing empty, but I tried to fill and it wouldn"t have it - maybe me not doing it properlyneeds at least one tyre, others are showing signs of age, but have reasonable treadnumerous marks and scratches on the bodywork - the photos make it look better than it really is. Scrape shown in photo is on plastic, not metal.driver"s seat worn as in photoengine light currently on due to lambda sensor - was cleared by mechanic but came back on.1 key and remote not working (battery?)
Good bits:MOT to December 2015despite using oil, the engine starts on the button, sounds good and seems to run fine (obviously smoking due to oil issue though) - only just passed emissions test on last MOT (advisory).previous owner said it had been running perfectly on gas until recently and should be a simple fix - no guarantee of this though as I haven"t had it looked at. previous owner also said it has had a clutch, cambelt, head skimmed/gasket set and rear prop re-built, but no receipts to prove this.comes with some history, receipts for gas/LPG servicing and installation certificate.everything seems to work - electric windows etc. even air con is blowing cold.tow bar with twin electrics.Please bear in mind I have only driven this car a few hundred miles, so I have given an honest description based on this. 
Car is sold as spares/repairs due to issues listed.  I know it will have a reasonable value as parts and the LPG system will be worth selling on. Please arrange to view so you know what you are bidding on.
