This is a late 2004 car in good condition for its age, and which has an MOT until March 2016. I used it on a daily basis until it blew a cylinder head gasket a couple of weeks ago. My local garage has checked and confirmed that the gasket is blown and as I am due to purchase a new car shortly, it isn"t economic for me to have this repaired. The engine does start but as coolant is leaking into the cylinders driving the car risks seizing the engine. I strongly recommend that if you decide to bid you consider towing or using a trailer to remove the car from its present location. The bodywork and interior are in good condition (see photos) and you will notice it has RS alloy wheels with good tyres - the rims will set you back between £400-500 from new.
There is some minor paint scrape damage along the rear driver side quarter, and a small crack to the rear light cluster - this is a damage found after I"d left the car parked unattended. The scrape should T-cut out and the cracked plastic of the light cluster hasn"t caused any issues with MOTs. I should also point out that there is an intermittent airbag warning fault light, which comes on when the sensor connector under the passenger seat works loose. Reaching under the seat and re-connecting solves the problem. There is also a tow bar fitted as you can see.
If you have the DIY skills to replace the head gasket or need a spares donor car then this is a bargain. I"ve set a low reserve, so all you have to do is start the bidding and snap this up.
