Previous owner only had the car serviced once due to” hardly ever driving it anywhere” and didn’t have any service paperwork from the previous owner.  He only covered 9K miles from Mch 2009 to Mch 2012. He purchased the SHOGUN to tow his caravan from Manchester to Wales but after 2 trips “decided to buy a static” and the car then sat in his driveway most of the time. The MOT’s back this up as he only covered 2K miles in the last year of ownership.  I purchased theSHOGUN originally to tow my 20ft boat which I did on approx. 6 occasions, but I now have her moored in Loch Goil, Argyle since June 2013 and no longer need to tow.  This machine has fantastic towing capabilities and is a virtual “go anywhere” 4x4. The SHOGUN required a new battery and 2 fan belts tightened, which was carried out in my local garage on 26 Mch 2012 (Receipt available). Car had a full service on (and MOT) 13 Mch 2013, with new Bosch wiper blades fitted As the car has used sparingly since it’s last MOT in 2014 (6K miles)it has had an oil change but not due a full service as yet. A problem with the wiper blade (front) mechanism was fixed on 18 Apr 2013. The front  tyres were showing signs of uneven wear and I had my local Kwik Fit check same and re-align accordingly  (invoice and technical print available). The tyres had 5mm tread with the new spare replacing the OSF, as advised by KwikFit.    A problem with the 4x4 system was identified in October 2013, which is a well-documented, expensive to resolve issue, on SHOGUN/Pajero forums. My local Mitsubishi dealership quoted me approx. £2K to correct the problem which I elected to decline!! My local garage again came to my rescue and the work was carried out by a respected local auto electrician and qualified Mitsubishi mechanic, using genuine Mit’s parts.  All 5 (4x4) electronic switches were renewed in Jan 2014, together with Centre Diff switch and Gear Lever electronics (receipts available), which included dropping the gearbox, at  a cost of £1K including labour.  Suffice to say, the 4x4 system now works as it should and the big car is 4x4 problem free, (to the best of my knowledge) ready for it’s next owner.  A part exhaust system (2 boxes and pipes from Cat backwards) was fitted in Set 2014. She is a bit dirty just now but will be cleaned and valeted prior to collection. There are a few small bumps and scrapes which were on the SHOGUN when I bought her and didn’t bother me. I put a dent in the OSF wing on 1 Oct 2012 which I have tried to show in one of the photo’s.  As my “excess” was £450 at the time, I decided to leave it as is, as it didn’t affect the car.  I have been quoted £140 to fix the dent, which I have reflected in the price. She has built in Sat Nav, electric most things including adjustable front seats which are also heated and fantastic in the winter.  All electrics are in working order. There is a 10 CD holder in the boot and a cassette player in front.  I used a separate gizmo to plug in my iPod, phone etc.  The sunroof is enormous and you can literally see for miles ahead of you in the very high driving position.  The full technical spec is available for this model on Mit’s website. Now the boring bits: UK bidders only: Test drives OK only if documented and verifiable insurance cover is provided:  Car is sold as seen and no returns accepted: I am not a mechanic or car dealer: A £200 non-returnable deposit is required via Paypal within 24 hours of your bid/offer being accepted, with the balance to be paid in cash on collection (preferred)  or bank transfer, which again must be verified before the vehicle is allowed to leave.  I am a 100% Ebayer and have bought my last 2 cars on Ebay and 2 for my daughter, so I consider myself to be honest and expect the same from prospective buyers. Please let’s not waste each other’s time with ridiculous offers (which will be ignored) or swaps etc etc etc theSHOGUN is for sale but not at a giveaway price. The car is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to end the auction early if necessary.  Please feel free to contact me by email should you require any further information, though as above ridiculous emails will be deleted.  Happy bidding J
NB:  I have a pair of genuine Mitsubishi lockable roof bars which I will include IF the car reaches my minimum acceptable selling price.  If not, they are for sale by separate negotiation.
