For sale is my 2005 (04 reg) Mazda 6 Zugara 2.3, which is the very rare uprated Sport model with 18 alloys, up-rated suspension and extra goodies such as Bose sound system and sub-woofer.
The car is registered as a Cat D after the previous owner was shunted in the rear. However the only damage was slight to the bumper and slight body warping to the right rear quarter, leaving a gap down one side of the boot. It does not affect the car in any way. It didn"t put us off buying the car.
The car has covered 95,000 miles, has extensive service history and had the belts and pulleys changed at 65,000 miles, so no worries there. It has 4x new tyres and has 6 months MOT. Everything works as it should bar the air-con which could do with a recharge. The BOSE sound system is incredible with a fully working factory fitted sub-woofer.
The ride and drive is very sporty. I"ve had to buy a diesel estate for work purposes (hence selling the Mazda) and after driving the estate and getting into the Mazda it"s like driving a go-kart. The engine is surprisingly torquey and is fairly rapid, the handling is fantastic if a little skittish over bumps and road imperfections, as you would expect with sports suspension and 18 alloys. The gear change is slick with a nice short throw gear stick, the brakes are sharp (just had new pads all round) and the steering direct.
As you would expect with a family car that"s 10 years old and covered 95,000 miles, it"s a little tatty externally (the odd car part prang, scrape etc) but the inside is good.
I see no reason why this car shouldn"t do another 50,000+ miles, you"ll find other 2.3 litre Mazda 6"s covering this sort of mileage with ease.
The car is up for auction at £1000 with no reserve, please don"t ask for a buy it now price. Cash on delivery is fine. Sold as seen.
Within eBay rules, I"m looking for to swap or px a motorbike, either projects or complete bikes that would be good for a cafe racer conversion or what have you. You buy mine I buy yours etc ;)
