Hello, and welcome to my auction.
Here we have my Mazda MX-5 up for regrettable sale, she is the last of the Mk 2.5 models.
She is currently showing 72,876 miles but going up as I use her daily and twice when the suns out !
MOT expires 1st Feb 2016, she has electric windows, white dials (standard), heated rear window (glass, not plastic) and loads more.

I bought this car because it was rated the 2nd most reliable car on the road after the Honda Jazz and I wanted reliability, plus they say these engines are bulletproof and good for over 200k. - so plenty of motoring left in her :)
Since I"ve had her the only problem I have had was a sticking brake caliper so I replaced this with a brand new Genuine Mazda Part at a cost of £379.57 as well as new discs and pads.
The last MOT the only advisory was the brakes and pads so they have been done now.
I spent £14.99 on an 11 page RAC report which confirms the vehicle has never been written off nor has it any outstanding finance, it also verifies the mileage and the owners too.
I installed a nice Kenwood Stereo in the car with a USB option for adding music, gone are days of glove boxes full of CD"s.
The only "mods" if you can call them that which I have done to the car is I have removed the front licence plate plinth and installed a vinyl licence plate instead, it looks much cleaner, I also removed all the chrome badges from the car, we don"t need to see Mazda symbols and Mazda lettering and MX-5 all over it, I wanted a clean look, but they can easily and cheaply be put back if required. Oh and I also bought some shoulder pads to add a little interior bling and comfort, which I like a lot.
What else can I tell you about her.. she gets 32mpg round town, this model comes with a heated glass rear screen, not plastic like on some, and also mine has the wind deflector with built in speakers, again not all models came with this.
Also comes with the MX-5 tonneau cover in black.
The GOOD: I will have to keep this short or I will ramble a 5,000 word essay. In my time I have had Porsches, Evo"s the lot, and nothing, I repeat nothing comes close to bringing me the joy that this little MX-5 has *wipes tear away* :(
When people ask me what its like to drive I always say the same word,... "magic"... I don"t know how else to describe it, you try driving it and not smiling if you can :)
So everything about it is good, the gearbox is nice and tight, I think the gear ratio is part of the fun, shes a 5 speed and the ratios are so close that when your sat so close to the floor it makes for an intoxicating drive, it"s definitely a drivers car, the kind you make an excuse to nip out to the shop in and take a 50 mile detour home.
The BAD: Let"s see ... I can only think of two, when I bought the car there was and still is an intermittent rattle from a heat shield above the back box, some people remove these but honestly it"s never bothered me enough to get down there and sort it out, every once in a while you might hear a rumble then it stops and won"t to it again for ages, but I wanted to mention it.
The only other fault I can mention if I have to find one is where I took the front Mazda badge off the front bumper it left some small marks on the plastic, to me there better than a giant silver Mazda symbol but if it bothered you that much you can put the badge back which would cover most of it.
Condition wise, I rate it 90/100, remember this is a 10 year old car now so if you look close enough you will see the odd mark (unless you polish it for 6hrs a time like I do) but there is nothing substantial and once its had a full polish you"ll spend as much time admiring it as you do driving it.
I am happy to take anyone for a test drive, duel carriageways, round town, but if you want to drive my baby you are going to need to leave me the asking price in cash first.
This is a legitimate, low mileage, last of the mk 2.5 MX-5"s and I am confident the first person to see it will buy it.
For a 2005 plate, in this condition, with these miles and F.S.H. I have priced it at the least I would take with absolutely NO OFFERS so please don"t ask.
