The car is in sound, used condition. The mileage is currently showing 75,600, however, the car is in daily use, so this will increase by the time the auction ends.
GOOD POINTS:* The interior is in very good condition indeed, and looks hardly used.* Good tyres all round (3-5mm), and an unused full-size spare wheel and tyre.* An upgraded Sony Stereo / CD / MP3 Player.* Full Main Dealer Service History, with fully stamped book, as follows: 22.03.06 @ 10,088 miles by Platts of Stoke-on-Trent. 02.04.07 @ 20,241 miles by Platts of Stoke-on-Trent. 08.04.08 @ 30,224 miles by Platts of Stoke-on-Trent. 02.01.09 @ 40,309 miles by Platts of Stoke-on-Trent. 12.01.10 @ 50,349 miles by Platts of Stoke-on-Trent. 15.06.11 @ 59,701 miles by Platts of Stoke-on-Trent.
NOT SO GOOD POINTS:* The bodywork is generally very good for an 11 year old car, but there is a small area of rust on the rear offside wheel arch (as shown in the photo).* The rear bumper could do with replacing, as there has in the past been an impact on the rear bumper and tailgate, which has had an amateur repair (2 photos show this). Replacement bumpers are available on eBay from £20.* There is an odd area that is only just visible under the nearside sill where someone has just sprayed a section with a back rubber paint. It looks as though it was a sample area for rustproof treatment, as there doesn"t appear to be any damage under the painted area.
These are great cars to drive, ideal for trundling round town in, with a great turning circle. They have a very basic spec, so there isn"t much to go wrong, and return good MPG. A cheap runabout for someone.
The car is fully HPI clear - I will provide an HPI report to the winning bidder.
