Due to a lack of use it is time to sell my loved IMPREZA WRX.  She has served me well for the last couple of years including a proper road trip to the north of Scotland from Kent without missing a beat.  Cosmetically for her age and mileage she is not too bad, there are stone chips and some scratches as you would expect.  In my mind the worst bit is a dent to the rear boot lid which I am sure could be pretty easily sorted if it bothered you.  Inside she is clean with no rips or tears to the seat upholstery which has got to be quite unusual in a car of this age.  There is aircon which will need re-gassing but it is the winter now so you could just open the window!!  Interior she is completely original with the original momo steering wheel and ICE system which includes cd/radio am/fm.
Mechanically the engine is sound and still pulls really well.  She has just been through an MOT and has a clean sheet with no findings/recommendations.  The tyres are in good shape with a brand new one fitted at the MOT.  The clutch is going to need attention soon, it has started slipping at around 3500 rpm to 4000 rpm when in a high gear, otherwise it seems to be absolutely fine.  I"ve used the car for short and long journeys over the last few weeks and it hasn"t been an issue for me at all, but it is something I would change if I was going to keep her.  Frankly it is no big deal to have it done and the buy it now price reflects the price of the car needing a new clutch so in my mind it is still a bargain.  She was owned by mechanics before me and has a part service history, I have then done the oil/plugs and air filter at about 77,000.  The cam belt was also done at about 42,000 miles
I think she is a great car that is awesome in the winter and fun in the summer, I"ll be sad to see her go however the new owner should have plenty of time with her still as a work horse or solid commuter.
Current mileage is approximately 85,000 and she is in use so this will vary.
I recommend coming and seeing her.  No test pilots and if you bend it you buy it.  10% non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction ending and cash on collection which must be within 7 days of auction end.  She is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to remove this auction at any time.
