2005 Subaru Forester 2.0 Petrol (125hp) Manual w/ 150k
For sale is our 2005 Subaru Forester in a classic British Racing Green. A good example of one of these cars with a great deal of features. Arguably the best Jap engine ever made, the 2.0 EJ20 (as used in the Impreza), combined with a slick five-speed gearbox provides the perfect combination of economy and performance when you need it. These are far better to drive than many off-roaders and more practical than most normal cars.
With an average mileage of 149k, this example has a fully stamped service book and some recent paperwork with it to prove how well it"s been looked after. It"s been serviced in the last few months, and had four new tyres fitted, too.
The X spec includes permanent 4WD with selectable Hi/Lo, all electric windows and mirrors, climate control, cruise control, 16 alloys, CD multichanger, a good sound system, driver/passenger individual armrest, contrasting interior, fold-flat rear seats, and a tow bar.
This car drives fantastically well with no mechanical issues to note, as expected for a modest Jap car. It is MOT"d until September, with advisories sorted and covered few miles since. The bodywork is acceptable, however has some lacquer peel in places, some wear to the front bumper and the front passenger window doesn"t work. I suspect this to be a faulty switch as that"s a common Subaru culprit.
AutoTrader suggests an asking price of £2565 for this car, so it is priced low and removes the need for haggling. Please do not ask for my best price or if the price is negotiable; it isn"t. Offers will be ignored.
