The car: Genuine 2005 widetrack version (with DCCD gearbox), hence more sought after / more expensive than previous year STIs. If you want the best Blobeye STI, then a 2005 version is the best. Just search Google on widetrack STIs. This is a UK-spec car.
New engine: It has a new engine bottom end fitted April 2017 at cost of £5,000 (included major service). The STI engine block (EJ207 - direct replacement) was bought directly from Subaru"s official parts UK distributor (IMParts) with invoice present and delivered to and fitted by reputable Subaru specialist garage (AdgeSpeed in Irlam, Manchester). It"s a totally new engine block, not a rebuild or re-manufactured, and came fully assembled by Subaru (I still have the old engine block in my garage). The original heads were used as they were inspected and found to be without fault. I also opted to use some up-rated parts in the engine build for reliability (e.g. RCM headgaskets), see below for more details. The new engine was run in for 1,000 miles and then oil and filter changed. The new engine block has now done 8,000+ miles.

Service history: Full service history, by me and previous owners. Folder present with invoices by me and previous owner.
Mileage: 61,700. Will go up as I"m back using it everyday.
Horsepower: Previous owner said 330bhp. Never been on a dyno in my ownership so can"t be sure.
Owners: V5C currently says 3 previous owners, but from documentation and it looks like it"s actually only had 2 owners before me, first owner in Perth, second owner in Falkirk.
MOT: Due 26-November-2018. Passed last year with zero advisories. For asking price I can include a new MOT.
HPI: Clean, no finance, not insurance write-off.
Tyres: 5mm on front, 2-3mm on rear.
Keys: Two keys.

Issues:
- The wheels could do with a refurbishment.- The boost gauge stopped working a couple of months ago, I"ve been told it receives power but the sensor needs replacing. The other two gauges still work.
- Service history booklet has ran out of pages so most recent services are in invoice form, with mileage and date written on invoice and work done. I can get the stamps done with a new booklet by going back to garage with the invoices if buyer wants.
