Much reciepts and history in book pack, examples
Replacement rear light clusters, replacement dashboard bulbs, rear bumper screws, front engine mount, exhaust, lambda sensor, MOT until Aug 24th 2015, previous MOT shows no advisories. Has a modified sump with oil drain plug, Front springs, front stabiliser links including ball joints, new brake light switch.
Invoice from engine rebuild at 78785 shows the following replaced. 1x Head bolt, 1x Head gasket, 1x Valve Stem Seal, 3x Piston Rings, 1x timing chain kit including tensioner, 1x front main seal, 6x NGK Spark plugs, oil filter, oil, gearbox oil, second hand timing cover. The total from this invoice was £769.14 Inc VAT and means that the car should be good for another 75,000 miles without further intervention.
I have been using this for the past year to validate some previous NCB as a bit of fun to drive on a sunny day. As you can see from the mileage, there haven"t been that many sunny days of late. However on those sunny days, this has been a right laff, it starts and goes just like it should.
I have fitted the Tacho and Clock pods and also a cruise control stalk, however these haven"t been programmed to the car. The cruise functions and the rev counter therefore do not work. They only need programming by a Smart dealer or a Smart specialist to start working.
The air conditioning doesn"t work, this has previously been the subject of a re-gas by a previous owner in July 2013, evidenced by a receipt. I haven"t investigated this in a meaningful way, as when the suns out, the roof"s down.
The vehicle has previously had a leak from the engine cover not being screwed down and the boot lid being mis-aligned. I have rectified both of these issues, and the car no longer leaks, however the original leak has left a musty smell which just needs a bit of driving and airing to remove. The rear carpet has been changed since the leak was fixed.
The vehicle is 10 years old, and is in generally good condition throughout, however it does show the odd sign of its age, some of which has been spent with a vinyl wrap.
The vehicle only comes with 1 key (it did when I purchased it)
It has a Sony Bluetooth stereo MEX-BT3900U, which, among other things, streams music from my iPhone 5s no problem.
I"m selling the vehicle as I am changing jobs, meaning I no longer get a company car, and I have had to get a "sensible" Astra Diesel Estate for moving the family around.
Tyres are all Vredstein Quatrac 3 all season tyres. Fronts 145/65R15T, Rear 175/55R15T

So, honest, inexpensive to tax, inexpensive to replace tyres, at 50-60+MPG inexpensive to fuel, and inexpensive to insure. Grab yourself a fab first car, or even a fab second, third or “moreth” car...
Due to the governments ridiculous new rules on both VED(Tax) and "Continuous Insurance" I have been forced to SORN the vehicle, meaning no test drives can be permitted without adequate insurance being procured and tax being paid for. (about £2.50 for the month that would be lost from a refund)
