Reluctantly selling our Hummer H3 due to change in circumstances with work and home status.
Bought in November 2020 from Dubai and was shipped to Egypt were our eldest son is getting medical treatment due to his treatment back in the UK stopping because of lockdown. it was bought to be used to take our son to his treatment and back which is 31 miles round trip every day.
Car originally bought with the intention to bring back with us to the UK and keep. Unfortunately change of circumstances now has resulted in the decision to sell the car.
Last Tuesday the 9th of February 2021, full service has been carried out to the car, this included all the below
1- Transmission oil & Filter change (MANNOL oil DEXRON VI) 2- Front & Rear differential oil change (MANNOL oil 75W-90)3- Transfer case oil change (MANNOL oil DEXRON III)4- Front & Rear EBC brake pads. 5- New set of front windscreen wipers6- Engine oil was not changed at this time – as the car came with a receipt from Dubai that it had recently had an oil change in August 2020 and still had 2000 km to go before the next oil change. (new K&N oil filter is available with the car when sold)
The car comes with full-service history from Dubai. It has the service book and all RTA (Road Traffic Agency) Certificates for the past years, RTA is a similar method of testing like the MOT back home in the UK.
Also, on the 7th of February 2021, it had a full detailing to the outside and inside using SONAX Detailing products. It included 1- Full body polish (Paint correction) and sealed with polymer wax for protection2- Full interior detailing Post the detailing the car body and interior has returned to almost showroom condition.
Comes with 2 original keys, now only one FOB available but I have ordered another 2 FOBs coming from the USA soon, will be provided with the sale of the car.
Has aftermarket Pioneer entertainment unit with Bluetooth and screen mirroring function. PIONEER AVH-X2750BT
Everything in the car works as it should apart from the list below. Please note, the list below Is not exhaustive and it’s only the things that I have discovered and know they are not functioning as they should.
1- Car has no heating as it is a GCC specifications car (will require Heating core installed) 2- Electrically adjustable left-wing mirror is intermittently working. Would require investigating. 3- Rear electric window switches only works to put the windows down but don’t work to bring them back up again, it hasn’t been an issue for us as the front driver windows controls are working fine and all windows go up and down from the Drivers window control switches 4- Left rear door handle, missing a cosmetic end. Can be seen in the pictures. 5- Rear wipers are not working, not sure if it’s the control dial in the dash or the rear wiper motor. Will require investigating. 6- Hand brake is not effective - shoe pads are adjusted - hand brake cable is to be investigated (possibly will be resolved prior to the sale of the car ) 7- AC door actuators need replacing as they are not functioning as they should. they do not switch between the different options of AC air outlets when the dial is turned. (it"s 3 of them and they are located at the driver side underneath the dash below steering wheel).
We are still using the car at the moment, so the KM will increase, but not significantly. currently it has 205,000 Kilometres
The car is in Egypt now and if sold will require Shipping to the UK, I will be happy to assist with the shipping from Egypt.
