Hi guys, welcome to my listing for my Ex- South Yorkshire Police Volvo V70 T5.
She is a 2.4 20v 5 cylinder Turbo-charged Petrol, that puts out 265bhp as standard and well over 300bhp when mapped. This one doesn"t feel standard to me.
This is a seriously fast family car, perfect for lugging the kids around but at the same time goes like a rocket.
This car was owned by a preservationist before me, and I know he looks after his cars.
Since owning this car I have carried out;
- Full service - Oil (5w/30), Oil filter, Pipercross lifetime air filter, Spark plugs, Fuel Filter. - Full PCV System was replaced by me including all new gaskets so thats piece of mind. - New Thermostat. - New Lambda sensor up front (genuine Bosch) - New Coolant. - Cleaned PTC Nipple on the rear of the engine and cleaned the Throttle Body as well. - Cambelt was done 15k ago in 2014. - New exhaust and rear section earlier this year.
I know these engines really well and the jobs above are for pure preventative maintenance.
I have a full printout from the Police of the work that has been carried out to this car whilst in service.
I have spent the last month or so tidying bits and bobs up and getting the vehicle to a decent standard.
I had the wheels powder coated only a month ago, at the same time I checked the underside of the car and everything is good.
Interior is clean, bodywork has a few dings from car parks but in keeping with a vehicle of this age/nature. This was a marked car in service.
It really looks the business when its clean.
Most people think you are undercover police in this so you dont get many idiots on the road as you normally would. :D
MOT until August 2017.
Car is ready to go. I have all the paperwork for her.
No warnings on the Dash.
The car owes me roughly £2800 so if you are to make an offer make it sensible please. These Volvos are getting really hard to find nowaday"s.
