I have owned this car now for just under 3 years, which is the longest I have ever owned a car! Bought as a family vehicle, it has been fantastic.
If you don"t know much about the 159, it was the first Alfa designed under the head engineer that had just come from BMW, you can tell as the reliability of this model is really good.
The 1.9JTDm engine is the General Motors engine also found in the Vauxhall Insignia, and very similar to many other well known and reliable European cars. Fortunately not the 2.4 diesel or one of the petrol ones which are not nearly as reliable.
When I got this I had the choice of the satnav unit, and knowing how terrible and unreliable the satnav unit is, went for one without.
12 Months MOT. Passed today first time with no advisories.
I have kept on top of the maintenance of this car,  recently had a Full Service, oil change, new battery, replaced Upper Suspension Arm and new Alternator.
The cam belt was changed when I got it as part of the deal, which is really essential to have done on this car at around the 72k mark.
Am having to sell now as have a company car on the way, which I"m sure will be dull, ugly and boring :(
Metallic Grigio Vesuvio - which isn"t really grey, more a silver with a tint of gold. looks lovely. It"s also not black, which had the paint issues.
Black Leather Interior, which is tough, hard to mark and very comfortable.

Rear Parking Sensors, Auto On Headlights, Auto Wipers, Push Button Start, Dual zone Automatic Climate Control, Cruise Control, Electric Windows, Electric Mirrors, Remote Locking, Multi Function Steering Wheel, Spoke Style Alloys, RDS stereo radio/CD player, Power Steering, Height/reach adjust steering wheel, Volumetric anti theft alarm. A very decent car with Full Service History.
