 Hi and welcome to the auction/sale of this great little Electric Car.
I know very little about these but when offered to me I just had to have it! (great novelty and fun factor), I have owned many cars but never one that runs 100% on Electricity!
So having Brought the little Aixam I charged up the battery by simply plugging into a standard 3 pin socket and after a few hours charge was ready to go.
From a little research online I understand the car can travel fro up to 40 miles on one charge and achieve speeds of up to 30 mph.
From my test drive I can tell you the car will exceed 30 mph down hill LOL! along the flat the car drives very well at around 30mph.
As for distance on one charge? I drove the car 16 miles around the country lanes where I live, up and down some very very steep hills with the radio on and the heater on (all of which will drain power), and when I got back home I had used half the tank of electric so in fairness, and unusually,  I would guess the manufacturers claims are not too far out.
I understand this car can be driven on a motorcycle license at just 16years old and benefits from free road tax and congestion charge free,
also can be recharged at many car parks ( I believe free and in some cases even free parking, due to a government incentives/grants)???? I also believe form my research that you can even have a charging point fitted to your property free of charge, (please dont hold me to these opinions as this is just information I found online,  but well worth your while looking into).
Condition wise, the car is overall very nice and everything appears to work correctly, at some point the front has been cracked due to it being very light the panels are of course plastic, the previous owner has made a reasonable job of riveting these to give a bit more strength and is perfectly usable and presentable as is. The interior of the car is excellent. The under side chassis, wheels, tyres etc are all excellent. The car has  a NEW 12 MONTH  MOT  ( The reserve  price is set at around £1500 less than the same are on Autotrader).
p.s Sorry forgot to mention the car has some history, the most important of which is an invoice for new batteries around 3,000 miles ago.
