Plus I decided to add the BBR / Expedy uprated clutch to the package, for management of the power. My car has the dyno report that shows performance improvement from 157bhp to a sizeable 275bhp and not for the faint hearted. The BBR conversion is also fully reversible, so if in future the owner wishes to revert the car to standard format, this is an easy and straightforward process.
The suspension was completely replaced by BBR with a set of the very best quality Koni adjustable dampers re-valved and matched to specially-developed progressive wound BBR lowering springs. BBR’s suspension package combines sharper turn-in, superior body control during committed driving and a compliant ride to ensure occupant comfort. The very best fast road setup, whilst still remaining cheaper than poor quality Chinese coil over’s with limited travel offered by others.
These upgrades make the car very easy to drive, and provide the performance that is what you might expect when you first see this gorgeous sports car. This car has been loved, frequently detailed and always serviced by a Mazdamain dealer.
CONDITION
- Mechanical -
Excellent Condition. It drives absolutely superbly and is a meticulously maintained example with a Full Mazda Service History. No expense spared and the added edition of a BBR Turbo, which increases the BHP to 275bhp. Also sporting an unbelievable suspension setup with Koni adjustables - fast road setup, which is surprisingly comfortable. Firm and assured in the corners. The brakes have also been upgraded to grilled and grooved discs, as well as Red Stuff Racing Pads. A true weekend toy, great fun and a pleasure to drive.
- Exterior -
Excellent Condition. The Radiant Ebony paintwork is absolutely stunning and barely has a mark, as well as being super straight. This has to be one of the best kept examples in the country of this rare ZSport.
- Interior -
Excellent Condition. The interior overall is in excellent condition, with limited signs of wear. There are NO RIPS or NO TEARS in the ivory leather seats.
- Wheels -
Very Good to Excellent Condition. All 4 limited edition original BBS cross-spoke alloys are in great condition. Some minor signs of age if I am being super picky - these wheels are absolutely stunning and come wrapped in 4 good Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.
