Apple Car Play allows the use of your iPhone/6 music etc and apps such as spotify, text to speech use of texting whilst on the go (it"s very accurate) and gives you up to the minute maps, not like the old PCM unit in it previously.  I genuinely wouldn"t be without it now as it"s miles better than the factory and as more apps come online it will only get better.
