Fancy something a little different? For sale is my Proton SATRIA Neo 1.6 GSX,           Genuine reason for sale (I have been given by a family member a diesel xtype jaguar)
The car still has MOT, and is taxed and insured until sold, mileage will increase as I will use it from time to time (went to Southport last week and got 50+ Mpg on the motorway)
This is a brilliant unique little car has never skipped a beat and is extremely good looking, I have had so many compliments on this car, not common as muck, but easy and cheap for parts.
The colour is a silvery white with a tinge of blue in some lights
According to Autocar the SATRIA Neo was penned at the Lotus design centre in Hethel, Norfolk, Package that with the Lotus/Proton Campro Engine and the Lotus Handling Tweaks, The SATRIA Neo is a very interesting car.
The CamPro engine fitted in the SATRIA Neo is the first automotive engine developed together with Lotus by the Malaysian carmaker, Proton. The name CamPro is short for Cam Profiling. This engine powers the Proton Gen-2, Proton SATRIA Neo, Proton Waja Campro, Proton Persona, Proton Saga, Proton Exora, Proton Preve, Proton Suprima S and Proton Iriz. The CamPro engine was created to show Proton"s ability to make its own engines that produce good power output and meet newer emission standards. The engine prototype was first unveiled on 6 October 2000 at the Lotus factory in UK before it debuted in the 2004 Proton Gen•2.[1]
All CamPro engines incorporate drive-by-wire technology (specifically electronic throttle control) for better response,[2] eliminating the need for friction-generating mechanical linkages and cables.
