From the moment you walk up to this car you will notice it is unlike many others, it has superb styling and the powerful, yet incredibly economical 2.0 litre DCI GT Diesel engine produces a superb 175 Bhp.  Being a top of the range GT model this car carries the highest specification available, it is smooth, quiet and very, very fast. The economy and acceleration are great thanks to the 6 speed manual gear box. Having the extra gear means that the acceleration range of each gear is narrowed to be more efficient and then in 6th gear these cars are revving at just 2,500 rpm when doing over 90 Mph!  In top gear at 60Mph the engine is barely ticking over at 1,400 Rpm, so it will cruise along all day and still produce astronomical Mpg figures.  The car currently averages just over 50mpg.
Despite being a few years old the cabin still feels modern and very sumptuous, with full leather to the seating and door cards. The seats have electric adjustments to help you find the optimum driving position. With the Voice Recognition System (VRS) all you have to do is simply tell the car what to do.  The VRS operates the telephone system (Bluetooth connectivity), Sat-Nav, etc. The Cabasse Auditorium Hi-Fi sounds superb and benefits from a six CD changer. There are a number of other options that really enhance long journeys…..Such as cruise control and remote hi-fi controls, telephone controls to the steering wheel and column, electric glass tilt & slide sunroof and blue tooth telephone connectivity.  However, the star of the show is the DVD Player and Freeview Tuner (both remote control operated) with AV screens in the rear headrests which are great for long journeys with the kids.  There is even a screen in the front passenger side sun visor but, unfortunately, this stopped working a few months ago.
The load space in the boot is cavernous and, at the click of a couple of catches, you can fold the rear seats forward to almost double the size.  There is fully automatic climate control…the driver and front passenger just have to enter their desired temperature and the car will deliver it.
This car has covered a modest 126K and I have covered the last 23K (owner since May 14) with no issues.  The car has 2 previous owners and a Full Service History - the first 100k (of Services) conducted by Renault main dealer and more recently by my local garage.  I have a fully stamped service book (last service at 120K in May 15) and the computer is showing that the next service is not required for another 7K. The car was last MOT’d in May 15 when I spent c.£900 on a complete overhaul of the rear brakes and a new electronic handbrake (receipt available) – so the car should be good for many thousand miles to come!
Internally the car is in excellent condition.  The leather is unmarked and there is only the very odd light general wear and tear mark that would not really need mentioning.  Externally the car is also in excellent condition without any car park dings, nasty scratches, dents or grazes.  The front wings and bonnet area do have a very small number of fine stone chips that have been touched in and polished - but the car is not heavily stone chipped like you would expect for the age and mileage.  Without doubt I would describe this car as in near excellent condition.  However, there is an issue with the body kit (skirts) - please see faults section below. 
Upon collection should the final purchaser find that I have failed to describe this car in any way I would have no qualms with them not completing their purchase and refunding their deposit.  Please feel free to contact me if you require anything further information – my name is Richard (07985 132947). 
This is a genuine sale as I’ve just received a new company car.  I have set the reserve at a very low level (she needs to go) and I will let the auction run.  I will not be offering a Buy It Now price - so please no emails, texts or calls to ask. 
FAULTS :
As I want to be entirely honest with any purchaser these are a number of small issues that would stop me describing this car as near perfect.  The font driver side tyre has a slow puncture which needs to be topped up every few days.  The new owner will want to change this tyre following purchase.  I’ve also noticed that if the car hasn’t been started for 5 or more days the battery charge drops.  The new owner may want to replace the battery.  The body kit (skirting) is scratched and cracked at the front and both sides – please see the last three photos.  This could be easily fixed but I’ve made do as it doesn’t affect the drive in any way and is barely visible (as low on the car).  Finally, the service light is on and the dashboard screen flashes Check Injection and Emissions.  These messages have been showing since I purchased the car 18 months ago.  I’ve spoken to the garage and they believe they may due to be an electric fault (they’ve seen lots of examples of this issue) and it hasn’t impacted the MOT in anyway.  Finally, I’ve recently noticed that the rear door well gathers a very small amount of water following very heavy rain (not in the car – it is bone dry).  The only other imperfections that I should mention are that the front bumper and wings have a small number of fine stone chips (although they have been touched in and polished to rectify) but nothing that you would not expect from any second hand car with far lower mileage.  The alloy wheels have slight curbing, but again, they are in very good condition for their age and don’t detract from the overall look.  They could again be professionally restored with little effort.  Finally, one of the small plastic caps that cover the door key hole is missing.
I have mentioned everything that I can think of and please take these issues in to account when bidding on the car.  I have been as honest as possible and the price at the end of auction is the price you will pay and there will be no additional haggling on collection.  The winning bidder will be required to pay £200 deposit with 48hrs of the auction end and the car will need to be collected by Wed 21 Oct 15.
I am in receipt of the full V5 registration document, 1 x Remote Key and Fully Stamped Service Book.
