eBay 2007 Saab 9-5 Vector Sport 2.3 Turbo automatic, only 3 owners and 127k miles with a good history. This car is now surplus to requirements it needs a couple of minor things for the MOT, please see the pic of the failure sheet. It also may need other work, don"t really know what as I"m no mechanic, it was used up to last weekend put has now been replaced. The car has a vibration from somewhere when under power possibly something in the running gear, but it did not come up as a problem in the MOT test, could be a drive shaft or ????? Just not got the time or inclination to fix it. The car will drive, it towed the boat over 60 miles last weekend so there you go. If you book an MOT test at a local station to yourself you can drive it home, its still taxed till month end.
The MOT sheet is pictured, and is basically, 1) a wiper stork (£15 ebay) simple plug in fix, 2) a bulb for the light, 3) There is a leak from the power steering, most likely a pipe, the MOT inspector said he could not find the source. He said if it was steam cleaned it may pass, but he had to fail it as the fluid was present on the under tray?????? Strange I"ve never topped it up, and it works fine..... 4) Needs rear hand brake shoes striped and cleaned. There were no advisories.
Generally the car is in great condition, the interior is very clean, all the interior equipment seems to work OK, the rear parking sensors need looking at as they come up as inop, but that"s it. The bodywork is very good, there is some slight scabbing to both rear wheel arches but nothing major at all. The car has the usual chips and slight marks etc, but nothing more than any other 11 year old car.
Tyres and Brakes are both all recent and in great condition, that except the hand brake which as per the MOT sheet needs a strip down from lack of use, a common problem with automatics. The car has been well looked after in the past, and would make a great sauce of parts if that"s your thing. There is no smoke on start up or when running.
All interior equipment works as it should, and overall the car is in good condition, but its spares or repairs as no longer required, and needs an MOT. Car comes with full book pack and service book. Last service at 126k miles.
