For sale I have my 2007 57 VW GOLF GT Sport 140 TDI which has covered 92000 miles with the cambelt change carried out at about 85k for which the paperwork is present. Around the beginning of January this year I had the clutch and flywheel replaced as it suffered from the dreaded flywheel rattle. Both major expensive maintenance items have been replaced within the last 6 months so this car has many trouble free miles to go.
 
The bodywork on the car is in good condition with only the usual age related marks. The interior is also in very good condition with no rips or tears to the seats and all the functions work as they should do. The current MOT expires in August 2016 (no advisories).
 
The GT sport is the diesel equivalent to the GOLF GTI and stands out from the standard TDI GOLFs that you commonly see about. Exterior wise these are fitted with GT Styling pack (uniquely shaped front bumper), 17 "Classixs" alloy wheels, suspensions is lowered by approximately 15mm which improves the handling marginally over the standard TDI models,  colour coded heated door mirrors with indicators alongside a few other GT bespoke features.
 
The interior is also a nice place to be, "brick" cloth seats, leather trimmed 3 spoke steering wheel with "GT" logo, smooth black dash and centre console inserts, auto lights with guide me home feature, auto wipers, heat insulated tinted glass, 8 speaker sound system etc.
 
The standard spec includes speed sensitive power steering, full electrics, auto dim rear view mirror, CD / MP3 player, AC, front fog lights, multiple air bags, hazard light activation under emergency braking, blue lit dials and so on!
 
If you are after a sporty looking yet economical diesel car than this one is worth a look. The only thing to note is that this car is recorded as a V car. I bought the car from the salvage site Copart and it had suffered slight damage to the front wing, wheel and wishbone all of which I had replaced. I had the cambelt replaced as there was no proof of it having been done and the clutch was replaced as mentioned above.
 
This will make a cheap car for someone. The car is registered to me at my address and will be collected from there.
 
I usually average over 40mpg around town and the few times I have been on a long run it has averaged over 50mpg.
