I have personally driven this 159 and it drives great, no gearbox issues or other untoward noises, its a very clean example.
Tyres all round seem in great order, i would guess they are all around the 5mm tread mark, the interior is clean and tidy, no rips or tears in the seats, no marks or scratches on the dash or other trim inside.
Negative"s:1. When turning the steering wheel while the car is stationary the pump can be herd working, we have checked this out and it is a common noise, but we want to be 100% and state this within the advert as many people may not have owned a Alfa Romeo before and we do not want them to be upset with their purchase, if in doubt please call Alfa themselves and they will tell you the same thing, its just a little nosier than other vehicles, Thats All, when we called they wanted us to book it in, so that they could change the steering fluid to their new green fluid which will eliminate the noise but it was not worth it as its totally normal, there is no noise when the car is moving, only when stationary and you are turning the tyres on the spot.
