Welcome to the sale of my 1 Series, i am advertising this car on behalf of my son. He has owned this car since February 2015. He loves it but wants to a newer 1 series. As stated the car itself is overall in very good condition, and drives perfectly. Unfortunately the car was written off in 2012 & fully repaired and put back on the road in March 2013. Since been MOT every year with no advisory"s. Had a full service on the 23/10/15 at 56980 miles. Recently intermittently the engine management light comes on & goes in to limp mode then half an hour later you can get in to the car start it up and no management light comes on or limp mode and drives as it should. Bloody computers have their uses but not in car"s. Being sold as it is Somebody with a bit of knowledge could sort the fault a lot cheaper then BMW. We have been told by a local garage that it is something to do with the cam shaft sensor.
