This has been my weekend toy for the last couple of years and I"ve totally loved it.
This is a JDM evo X , semi auto paddle shift GSR. I was very hesitant about having one of these as I wasn"t convinced that an evo should be an auto, Boy was I wrong, I totally love the paddle shift, it"s probably the most usable daily evo you can have..
Drive in full auto and it kicks ar$e, but flick it into super sport paddle shift and it turns into a race / rally car.. The buzz I"ve had from driving this has been amazing , but it doesn"t get used enough and needs to be fully appreciated , but saying that I"m not in any hurry and I won"t give it away !!
This car was imported and supplied as brand new by Mitsubishi UK, it was converted to mph and has had three uk owners, it has a fully stamped service history , being my own weekend toy it has done very little mileage ..
Infact it"s only done 27,800kms which is only 17274 miles !!! All with proven history. (Will go up slightly)
I"ve just had it serviced by Mitsubishi Colchester, Where I had all the gearbox and diff oils changed amongst over bits at a cost of £700
Mitsubishi also carried out a health check on the car and couldn"t fault it ..
The body work is in near perfect condition with only the slightest marks , the colour is amazing, whilst Mitsubishi list these as black it is more a dark grey, and a Pearl at that, in the light it has blue & gold fleck which looks amazing .
The alloys were from a FQ400 and were refurbished but unfortunately they have been curbed a little, if I keep it I"ll get them done, tyres are all good
The car sounds as good as it looks, the Quad Perrin exhaust sees to this, not overly loud, but it has an unmistakable rumble ..
On boost the car pulls extremely well, it"s currently running 360bhp but there"s room for more bhp if you wish, for me that was ample,I"ve embarrassed many a so called sports car with this . Pulls through the gears and gives out some nice pops & bangs
The interior is very clean, no clutter , just a kenwood headunit which replaced the Japanese kit.Built in sat nav and blue tooth function
I"ve recently had new brake pads fitted on the rear, so stopping this beast isn"t a problem either ..
The car gets many compliments and is a real head turner ...
As with all cars there is always something that needs doing, unfortunately during bad weather a branch hit the rear after market spoiler, these spoilers are £1800 new, it was already fitted to the cat when I bought it and whilst wasn"t my cup of tea I have grown to like it , although now it is damaged , the end has been damaged and a small peeling of the lacquer has now become a big amount of peeling, again if I keep I"d probably look at buying a replacement ...or repairing this to a better standard ..
Anyway car is available for viewing, it"s also advertised elsewhere so I do reserve the right to end at any time ..note this is my own car logbook is in my name,offered as a private sale, any inspection is welcome.
