Here I have for sale my 2010 Audi RS5 Quattro. The car has 72,000 miles, MOT until November this year and full service history. It drives great, fast, comfortable, competent, practical and sounds fantastic plus has money spent recently which should keep the costs down for the next owner such as 4 Michelin pilot sport 4 tyres at a cost of £900, and genuine rear brake disks and EBC red stuff rear pads at a cost of over £600.
Specification:This particular RS5 is fully loaded - in fact this is the reason I travelled all the way to northern island to pick it up, it was the only car for sale with this spec. Aside from the normal RS5 specification (which is substantial) this car has the optional sunroof, wingback Recaro seats (very rare and expensive option with electronically adjustable lumber, thigh support and bolsters), Bang and Olufsen premium sound system, Satellite navigation, 20 wheels and real carbon trim. I believe the below items form part of the standard RS5 spec, but worth mentioning - adaptive suspension, adaptive steering, variable gearbox settings, 7 speed paddle shift manual/auto gearbox, Quattro AWD system, heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, huge 8 piston aluminum front brake calipers, xenon headlights with LED daytime and rear lights. Ive also fitted a device that allows music to be streamed over bluetooth as the standard system only lets you make phone calls. This is fully integrated to the Audi media system and has great sound quality. the RS5 also comes with a different body kit than standard a5"s and s5"s complete with flared arches!
Engine wise, the Lamborghini derived 4.2L v8 with 450 bhp revs to 8500 rpm and has a specific output of over 110bhp/liter making this one of the best naturally aspirated V8"s built, and way more affordable that other comparable engined cars which in reality only come in super car form - do not get this confused with the older RS4 or S5 engine. Its sonorous, revs very freely and sounds outstanding - really is the best part of the car from my perspective. People like Jeremy Clarkson and Chris Harris praised this engine at the time stating it was one of the best available in any car. It also is not prone to any of the issues the older cars have had with timing chains etc.
Condition:The cars overall condition is excellent considering its 10 years old and has 72,000 miles. There is a few minor chips here or there, but this is expected for the age and mileage - nothing that detracts from the cars appearance in reality. The interior is excellent, the drivers seat has been trimmed to bring it back to top condition as the bolsters tend to get a hammering when you get in and out on these special seats. I actually had a new genuine replacement seat leather from Audi fitted professionally at a trim shop. The tyres were replaced in December shortly after the MOT and service with 4 Michelin pilot sport 4s tyres (pretty much the best and most expensive you can get) at a cost of £900, and the rear discs and pads were looking worse for ware so I replaced these with genuine Audi discs and EBC red stuff pads at a cost of over £600. I don"t like to skimp on cars, especially something like this! To make the car perfect, it could do with some attention to the wheels - nothing major just a few marks around the edges which £50 a corner should sort. again it doesn"t really detract from the car, but something I would have done if I had more time.
So why am Im selling it? well I"ve not had it that long (normal for me as get bored and change a lot - I"ve had over 70 cars) but my situation has changed and I"ve gone from doing 90 miles a week to 500 and its not affordable for me to run a car that does 20MPG for all these miles. In the last month I"ve done about 3000 miles and its hurting. So please take advantage of this, I bought the car and spent the money needed on tyres, brakes and sorting the seat out to make it perfect for me, hopefully it will be perfect for you.
