For sale I have my Seat IBIZA FR 1.4 TSI, the vehicles of this age and model had a factory fitted 1.4 twin charged engine accompanied by a 7 speed DSG gearbox . The vehicle has almost 87,000 miles on the clocks and it was used as a daily vehicle for both pleasure and commuting . The vehicle is being sold as spares or repairs due to a mechanical fault with the engine . The engine has recently developed a consistant knocking noise under any increase of load an acceleration , which also causes it to cut out after a short distance of driving . Following discussions with specialist and colleagues the fault could be stretched timing chain , I will continue to investigate the fault with the listing active therefore the listed may be edited to list findings and I withhold the right to remove the listing at any time. The engine currently runs and idles fine and can be seen running but it is not recommended as it may cause further unnecessary damage . Other then the mechanical fault listed above the vehicle was driving perfect with no issues until this fault occurred . The vehicles bodywork is in good condition apart from a small amount of damage on the front + rear bumpers and a small dent with a scratch on the n/s/r arch as shown in the pictures. The interior is in good condition and it only requires a good clean which will be carried out prior to sale of the vehicle . Since buying the vehicle in January 2015 I have replaced the coolant radiator and all 4 tyres , unfortunately the n/s/r tyre does have a slopw puncture but I suspect this to be due to our tyre fitter not bead sealing the tyre therefore i suspect it will be an easy fix if this is the case . I also have a forge Motorsport induction kit that can be included in the sale of the vehicle if a buyer would like this , it currently isn"t fitted and cost over £130 new .
