vehicle description:

For auction i have my Silver Mercedes Benz E220 cdi Saloon.
Its a 59 plate registered in January 2010 and i am the second owner having purchased it from a friend so i know the full history of the vehicle.
this has been a chauffeur car for its entire life and has done 338k miles up and down the M1 from Derby to Heathrow, birmingham, manchester etc along with Wedding work. Before you click the back button please read on - i pretty much promise you will not find a better car - im completely realistic about what the car will sell for and id be willing to listen to any reasonable offers.
Anyway, the car. The bodywork and interior is nigh on MINT - i have recently spent over £600 on having the alloys refurbed and the front bumper resprayed due to stone chips. The only thing of note to mention is the leading edge of the bonnet is stone chipped as expected. Other than that it would easily be mistaken for a 50k mile car - I did weddings and chauffeured execs around in it so its had to be kept spot on. The interior again is mint and doesnt show any signs of doing the mileage the car has done. The Artico Seats and trim are all tight and show no signs of wear, and the front seats are both electric and heated. all electrics work as they should inlcuding the auto lights and wipers, cruise control, cd stereo, blue tooth phone connection etc. The dual Zone climate control works perfectly and blows nice and cold
Mechanically, as far as i am aware its sound. I am not a mechanic so im speaking from the point of view of driving it - if you want to have a mechanic test it then thats absolutely fine. It still pulls through the 5 speed auto box with no problems, admittedly the engine is not as silent as it once was but it has had a FULL service every 12k  miles by Mercedes main dealer, then mercedes specialist and finaly by my local family run garage. there is plenty of service history with the car and this can be double checked at a merc dealer and lots of receipts. Approx 3 months ago i spent £1000 on a new Diesel Particlute filter but other than that its just been general service items such as brakes and tyres that have been replaced. As well as the full service history the car has had 3 MOT tests a year since new to satisfy local council licensing laws.
The car is available to view in Derby and im quite confident that this will be an absolute bargain for somebody and i dont think you will find a cheaper 2010 Mercedes E class in the country.
