For sale is my 2012 Lexus CT 200h Premier top of the range model in the stand out Ultra blue metallic - the best colour in my opinion! In essence, this car is a luxury version and much better built version of the current Prius and shares the majority of the mechanical parts with it.
I had intended keeping this car for the foreseeable future, but after falling in love with another car the plan has changed. There is no ulterior motive for selling the car, totally genuine reason for sale.
The car was registered in 2012 and has covered 93000 miles and drives as well as the day it was new. It has full service history (has just been serviced 25/04/16), 4 almost new premium quality tyres with between 6mm and 7mm of tread and 8 months MOT. Both front and rear brake disks and pads have been changed.
I also have a full set of original Lexus wheels (exactly the same wheels style as fitted to the car) fitted with winter tyres that will be included when sold at the asking price.
The mileage is mainly gentle motorway miles and driven with an emphasis on economy, a recent 400 mile round trip journey to Milton Keynes saw the average for that journey as 67MPG!Everything works perfectly and as Lexus intended and there are no faults whatsoever to my knowledge. There are a few very light marks and blemishes on the paintwork but only if you look very closely, no dents or parking dings whatsoever, there are a few scuffs on a couple of the alloy wheels too, the photo shows the worst one. The dark grey heated perforated leather interior is near perfect.
As to be expected with this top of the range Premier spec, it includes key-less entry and key-less start, Sat-Nav with TMC, Amazing Mark Levinson HDD Audio, cruise control, pop up display, all round electric windows, and bluetooth for the phone as well as media streaming etc. 4 years ago, this car cost over £32000!
This is a fantastic car and it is with sadness that it will be leaving us, it"s such an easy car to live with and much, much better than my previous 2nd and 3rd generation Prius that I have had before this. My old 2nd generation Prius now has over 300,000 miles on the clock which is a testament to how incredible these hybrid Toyota / Lexus cars are.For anyone who"s not familiar with these cars, there is no yearly road tax charge, they are immensely reliable, cheap insurance, very low servicing costs and fantastic fuel economy! There are no belts whatsoever on this car, no clutch, so many less things to go wrong!
The car features the following items (and more):- 3 memories for seats and door mirror positions which can be programmed to recognise the key that is being used so as to automatically adjust depending on the driver.- Auto folding mirrors which can also be adjusted to automatically point down towards the kerb to assist with parallel parking.- Front radar type parking distance sensors as well as rear radar & camera- type parking distance sensors, the camera does take a little getting used to but is amazing and even predicts where the car will end up based upon the amount of steering currently being used!- LED headlights, these are far more reliable than both conventional as well as Xenon type lights- Automatic headlight height adjustment- Front fog lights- Hill automatic brake holder
- Automatic air conditioning with two climate control zones.- Key-less Central door locking and comes complete with both fully functional keys that are in almost perfect condition.- Cruise control.- Body colour power door mirrors, heated and light sensitive to avoid glare from bright lights behind with integrated indicator lights and puddle lights.- Front and rear electric windows with one- touch on two windows.- Electric Power steering.- Eco and Sport mode - in sport mode all of the lighting in the car changes to red and the economy meter becomes a rev counter, the steering feel changes and the car has more power.- Alloy & leather multi- function steering wheel with tilt adjustment and telescopic adjustment- Auto dimming rear view mirror
- Audio system with six disc autochanger that reads MP3 CDs and DVD"s with colour screen. There is also a built in Hard Disk Drive on the stereo, as soon as you insert a CD the music is copied onto the HDD so that the CD is not required again!- There is also a USB slot in the centre console that I have used a 32GB memory stick, this holds over 200 albums that call all be chosen using the joystick and appear alphabetically.- Joystick control of the screen and menu"s, amazingly easy, much easier than both BMW and Mercedes systems.- The audio system is absolutely amazing, featuring thirteen Mark Levinson speakers and a subwoofer, this is the best car audio system I have ever heard. Also features 7.1 surround sound- Satellite navigation system with colour, 7 inch display, full map and voice and traffic information- Voice control of car and navigation- Bluetooth includes phone connection with easy accessed phone book that synchronises from your phone as well as Bluietooth music streaming
- Heated front seats, the drivers seat is electrically adjustable with five electrical adjustments, passenger seat, electrically adjustable with two electrical adjustments.
In addition to the standard specification, the car has had a digital journey recorder installed which is attached to the rear view mirror and features GPS for positioning and speed as well as a G sensor. This has a front and rear camera and stores journeys on a removable SD card. The camera is discrete and does not affect the drivers view of the road at all.
The car is located in Barton, just north of Preston and is ready to sell.
