Our Founder and Managing Director (Charlie Littlewood) has in excess of 23 years of experience within the motor industry, and had been employed by Bentley Motors where he had an extremely successful sales portfolio providing some of the world’s most exclusive motor cars (including Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche to name but a few) to VIP’s and Celebrities from all over the globe!
However sadly post the 2008 financial market crash, Charlie witnessed several, severe changes within the motor trade at this level that would then alter the way his customers bought cars moving forwards. This major, and very negative transition within the motor trade was simply enough to push Charlie into the fight, to want to give something back to his very loyal and valued customers and to ensure that the extremely high level of client care that they had become accustomed to was indeed sustained.
MelWood Automotive was born..
At MelWood, we run our company in a very simplistic fashion whilst ALWAYS giving a very bespoke and high level of customer care that simply cannot be rivalled.
We do not require a huge, oversized and expensive glass showroom. Instead our fully prepared cars are stored securely within our off-site premises ready for your inspection. At your request, we can also arrange a viewing at either your home or workplace at a time to suit. By running our business this way and thus avoiding the huge overheads that come with the former, we can therefore dedicate the necessary funds on preparing your new vehicle inside and out properly and to the very highest standards. It further allows us to be more competitive on pricing when compared to the main dealers.
Four years on, and we have a very successful company with a long following of extremely satisfied customers, many of whom are repeat buyers. We would love for you also to join our growing family of clients who truly value and appreciate the outstanding range of motor cars we sell, along with the unrivalled level of customer care we provide.
We are open for business from 9am to 8pm (Monday through Friday), and Saturday from 10am until 5pm.
