2013 S3 Lotus Exige V6 Race : Premium : Sport EditionMORE PICTURES TO FOLLOW THIS WEEK
This is the only damaged Exige V6 I"ve ever seen advertised on the open market. It comes with 99% of parts to finish. Please feel free to message asking if a certain part is included. A good way to check is going through the Lotus part manual - this can be checked on the website Deroure. The reason I state 99% of parts is because there will be the odd fastener/small part missing as you"d expect. What you see in the pictures is what you will receive - it"s as simple as that. Therefore in reality the only cost will be the paint work and your time - which if you"re considering building will be a enjoyable task to take on. It"s taken far longer than expected gaining the parts required due to a back log of waiting times from Lotus - something I don"t quite understand for being such a new car but anyway. The only exception are the airbags which I decided not to fit -just like the Cup cars (quick release steering wheel fitted).
The reason I"m offering this for sale is due to the fact I"ve decided to travel the world for the foreseeable future (I have a guy who packages and photographs my parts listed). The Exige is stored in my unit along with a Lotus Elise SC which is also available. I used to buy, rebuild, convert these to LHD for a living hence the love for Lotus cars. With a project in this state it"s easy to move around, paint in whatever colour you wish, fit a charge cooler or convert to LHD perhaps?
The Exige has been stripped bare and the parts have been fitted to a 2004 VX220 Turbo which uses the exact same chassis. The Exige chassis is included with all 3 chassis numbers intact. The side sill, the parts that run down the sill, bulk head and door are still on the chassis. Comes with two keys, V5 registration document (registration is for a 2013 Lotus Exige V6 - no mention of a crash is noted on this) but no other paper work is included - I"m sure if you contact the previous owners or dealerships they can supply the service history. The Exige is registered as a Cat D insurance write off. The Crash Box was damaged and now repaired - I"ve started to build an internal spoiler in the middle out of expanding foam and filler - needs finishing off.
