Up for grabs is this cheap and cheerful Daewoo Matiz ‘Xtra Cool’
1L (995cc) engine, 4 cylinder. Manual gearbox.
Originally bought for my wife at Christmas time to learn in, however she has decided to go down the automatic route. (At least she tried)
This car would ideally suite some one after a cheap run about/ stop gap, or a leaner driver due to its simplicity, small engine and low insurance/ running costs.
I have fitted a new yuasa battery in the last month as the old one didnt like the little use the car has had. Also had two tyres fitted which were advised on last mot. All four now very good!It has only covered a staggering 15 miles since its last mot so i cant see it having any trouble come mot time this year (September)
The vehicle has electric front windows, power steering, ABS, Air con (tries to work but needs re-gas!) Cd player etc. Starts on the button with no horrible noises and drives well. No warning lights on the dash, my only complaint would be the clutch is a bit high but no sign of slipping yet! Not enough power i would think!
It has its fair share of marks and dents which I hope you can see in the pictures! Viewing advised if you want to be sure on the condition.
I have the vehicle V5 logbook and some service history. I can tell you its last oil change was 4k miles ago but I cant see much info regarding cambelt change etc. After a quick look its mainly old mots and some tyre invoices, a few service/ repair ones also. Such as some welding to the rear outer sills a few years ago.Not that you would expect everything from a very cheap motor but hey, just trying to be accurate and save peoples time!
