The car is listed as spares or repairs because of its body condition and intermittent faultsAs you can see in the pictures the car has dents and scratches pretty much all over, it cleans up really nice and we"ve never been bothered as the car always started and has driven well.The intermittent faults have developed over the last year, its occasionally stalls at idle and bucks whilst driving usually after the car has been restarted on a return journey. When driving the oil warning light and engine management light comes on causing the the rev counter to stop working but there is no difference to the engine it still performs as normal. The oil is checked regularly and has never dropped below the dip stick fill up level but this problem keeps happening ever other journey. Im pretty sure its electrical as its such an intermittent fault that you can drive it 500 miles with out fault then a journey of 2 miles has the car stalling and management lights flashing the whole way.
It has been an excellent family car for a few years now and will be missed but as the wife now has a new car we really need to pass this on to someone who has the time/experience to fix its issues. The car is therefore listed as spares or repairs but is fine to drive home.
